As some of you know (and maybe many of you don't) my husband and I are both from Texas. He grew up in Katy, a suburb of Houston, and his immediate family all still lives in the area. A couple of weeks ago a historic hurricane hit the Houston area and left tens of thousands of people without anything, destroying homes, businesses, and entire communities. Luckily, our family is all safe and none sustained any major damage to their homes after Harvey hit, but we still wanted to do something from Bahrain to help support the massive relief effort that is going on now and will continue for months if not years. One of the things that makes me happiest about having a photography business is being able to use my skills for charity in times like these. Last week I posted that I would be offering last minute mini sessions and all proceeds would go to organizations working directly on Hurricane Harvey relief. Twelve beautiful families teamed up with me to raise money - we had families, couples, maternity, a newborn, brothers, and sisters. Here are some of my favorites from the mini sessions this past Sunday in Adliya.
