Thank you for getting in touch with me!  I’m glad you found Makenzie Verbout Photography and I can’t wait to hear more about what you envision for your custom photography session.  Below you will find everything you need to book a session.  There are many photography styles, and before deciding to make an investment, I think it’s very important than you find a photographer whose style makes you feel at ease and excited about your session.

I am a Lifestyle Photographer.  My goal in every session is to capture connection and emotion: whether that’s bringing out the authentic you for a headshot session or senior portraits, or freezing on camera the laughs and snuggles a family shares.  For many of you this is a busy season of life.  The time you schedule for your session may be one of the few times you get all week to really pause and focus on yourself or your family.  I want you to enjoy it!  I will give you prompts to encourage natural posing and expressions. No stiff poses or complicated set ups. I want you to look back on your images and remember the joy of the session.

Don’t worry, if you need a more traditionally posed photo for the holiday card or grandma’s mantle, let me know and we’ll reserve time for that.  However, most of our time together will be relaxed and, I hope, fun!
